AI Development

Machine learning built into your products.

We prepare your data, train or adapt models and wire them into the software you already run. Then we measure how they perform and keep them working once real users arrive.

We prepare your data and train models on dedicated servers.

Each version is measured on cases it has never seen.

In the cloud, on your servers or on devices on site.

We track results and retrain when the real world changes.

What you get
01Models that fit your dataTrained or tuned on your own records, not a generic demo dataset.
02Working integrationsModel outputs delivered through APIs your apps and staff can actually use.
03Measured performanceAgreed tests that show how accurate the model is before and after launch.

How we deliver

Four stages, each ending with something you can see and review before the next one starts.

01

Assess

Review the problem, the data you hold and whether machine learning is the right tool at all.

02

Prototype

Build a small model on real data and test it against an agreed measure of success.

03

Integrate

Connect the model to your systems through APIs, with logging and access controls.

04

Monitor

Watch accuracy and cost in production and retrain when the data or the business changes.

GPS-denied drone navigation

Drones on defence missions cannot rely on GPS, which may be jammed or unavailable.

Confidential defence client: autonomous navigation

What we built

  • A visual positioning system for drones
  • Matches landmarks seen by the drone camera against satellite imagery
  • Calculates the drone's position in real time
What it changed

The drone knows where it is without GPS, using custom deep learning models and sensor fusion.

Technology: Python, C++, OpenCV, custom deep learning models, sensor fusion

Also delivered: Satellite imagery analytics for a confidential defence and disaster response client, and an autonomous air traffic monitoring system for a confidential space agency.

Delivered by Hoki and its engineering partners. Product and client names belong to their owners.

Where this applies

The same engineering, shaped by the rules and realities of each sector.

Manufacturing

Visual inspection, predictive maintenance and process models running on site.

Financial services

Document extraction, risk scoring and assistants that keep sensitive data in-house.

Healthcare

Models that sort referrals or summarise notes, with clinician review built in.

Retail and e-commerce

Product recommendations, demand forecasts and better search on your catalogue.

Logistics and supply chain

Arrival time predictions, document reading and route or load suggestions.

Energy and utilities

Fault detection from sensor data and forecasting of load or equipment wear.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a lot of data to start?

Not always. Some tasks can use an existing model with a small set of your examples. Others need more history. We look at what you hold during assessment and tell you plainly whether it is enough, and what to collect if it is not.

Can the model run without sending data to the cloud?

Yes. We can deploy on your own servers or on devices at your site, using open models where suitable. This suits organisations with strict privacy rules or limited connectivity.

How is the cost agreed?

It depends on the data work, the model approach and where it runs. We agree scope and price after a short discovery, and often start with a fixed prototype phase so you can judge results before committing further.

Who owns the trained model and code?

Ownership is set out in the contract, and it is typically the client. Where we use open source or third-party models, their licence terms still apply, and we explain those before work begins.
