For IT teams

Fits your architecture, security and governance.

POLARIS IQ is designed to sit inside your architecture, security model and governance, not around them. It runs where you need it and works with the systems and models you choose.

Run in your cloud, on-premise, at the edge or on an appliance.

APIs, connectors and event streams, with no write access at first.

Use the right model for each task and replace it when needed.

Allow actions through approval once results are measured.

What you get

How we deliver

Four stages, each ending with something you can see and review before the next one starts.

01

Briefing

A technical session with your IT and security team on deployment, data access and controls.

02

Connect

Read-only connections to the systems in scope through APIs, connectors and event streams.

03

Configure

Models, agents, identities and permissions are set up to match your security model.

04

Expand

Write-back is added through approved actions, and new use cases follow measured results.

A read-only first phase inside a plant network

A manufacturer's plant data must stay on site. Its IT team wants to see exactly how the AI connects before allowing it to change anything.

A first phase could cover

We agree scope with you before work starts. For this kind of request, a first phase usually covers:

  • On-premise deployment with read-only access to ERP, maintenance and sensor data
  • Models chosen for each task and hosted inside the plant environment
  • Write-back to the maintenance system added later through approved actions

A typical project, described to show the shape of the work. It is not a specific client.

Where this applies

The same engineering, shaped by the rules and realities of each sector.

Manufacturing

On-premise or edge deployment for plants where production data stays on site.

Financial services

Deployment inside your own environment, with every decision traced for audit.

Healthcare

Patient data kept local, with access matched to existing clinical system rules.

Energy and utilities

Edge deployment near sensors and control systems at remote sites.

Media and broadcast

Event stream connections to playout, delivery and audience systems.

Public sector and education

Self-hosted models and on-premise deployment where data must stay local.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need write access from day one?

No. Deployments typically start read-only. Write-back to your systems is added later, through approved actions, once your team is satisfied with the results and the controls.

Can we change models later?

Yes. POLARIS IQ is model-agnostic. You can use the right model for each task and replace models as better ones arrive, without rebuilding the system.

Can data stay on our premises?

Yes. It can run on-premise or at the edge, including on appliances for sites where data must stay local. Models can also be hosted in your own environment.

How is access controlled?

It respects the access rules of the systems it connects to, with identity and permissions for every person and agent. Each decision and action is recorded for audit and review.
